About Our Pre-K Room

Ms. Jan
I have been in daycare for 15 years. I really enjoy working with children to help them meet their goals. I love working with all ages because I really love learning with each one of them.
Staff
In the pre-k room at a daycare, teachers have the important job of guiding those little explorers through a world of learning and fun. They act like superheroes, leading the children through exciting activities, songs, and games. It's a place where imaginations run wild, friendships blossom, and young minds are shaped with love and care. It's truly amazing to see the impact these teachers have on those growing hearts and minds!
Room
In our pre-k classroom it typically runs with a balanced mix of structured activities and free play. The day might start with a morning circle time, where kids sing songs, share stories, and discuss the day's plans. This is followed by various learning centers, like art, science, and dramatic play, where children can explore different subjects through hands-on activities. Teachers guide small group activities to focus on early literacy and math skills. There’s also plenty of outdoor playtime for physical development and social interaction. The day usually ends with a quiet time, such as story time or nap time, to help children wind down. Throughout the day, teachers provide a nurturing environment, encouraging curiosity, creativity, and social skills.
